I was starving!

I plan on completing a couple mini juice feasts this year but up until recently I was lacking a major ingredient to juice making. A juicer.

Over the weekend I pondered my whole “blender + fruit & veggies + nut milk bag = juice” idea (this was my original plan), and it began to seem quite ridiculous, so I purchased a juicer. I can be a very lazy girl in the morning, and goodness knows I wouldn’t have been waking up earlier to squeeze blended up fruit through a piece of cloth. No. Freaking. Way.

I have a feeling it will take all my will power and determination just to not end up like the wonderful Amir of Jake & Amir/ College Humor fame.

*Face full of chips* I was starving! Amir, I ♥ you.

Happy New Year All!

Happy New Year Darlings!

2009 will bring about heaps of changes for everyone, and I hope you all take full advantage of  the glorious opportunities this new year will have to offer.  Our country is changing (for my fellow Americans), creativity is bursting forth in mass quantities all over the world, people are communicating with each other more than ever before, and for the first time in a while we all seem to have a lot to be inspired by and a lot to believe in.

I was planning to wait until I had the layout I designed for DF all coded to get back to blogging but  I missed writing, sharing things with you guys, and most of all,  learning about interesting things from all the lovlies that commented and felt compelled to share a little bit of what got their motors running.   So, I am starting up again, but with an excellent minimal theme for now.

If you knew DF in its former incarnation you will see that things will be a little different, both in looks and content, but I hope you’ll love it anyway.  With that said, welcome to Destination Fantastic.  Enjoy your stay.

Mmm Heart!

How excited do you think I was to see a package from a mortuary novelty shop addressed to me in the entryway of our apartment building on Valentines Day? As a person who loves dead creepy things, 12 kinds of excited.

The amazing dreamboat surprised me with 1lb anatomically correct chocolate heart for Valentines Day! It’s delicious and oh so me. Thank you love!
